What? Is everyone wanting me to start?

OK, based on the description of the film, it sounded to me that the filmmakers (and the public (and the media)) were growing tired of protest after protest. I mean, the whole flower power thing is cute in a 60'sish kind of way, not really too sure if this is successful, as there doesnt seem to be much attention given to it. (Unlike the crazy naked man protest made by the same film-maker, which is really worth a look). I am surprised the police showed up at the end. I am curious to what they did.

They said, "'ere, 'ere, wot's all this then?"

As protests go, they're getting off very lightly. Similar protests in Portland have resulted in cops pepper-spraying people, including a baby.

Well, by similar, I mean anti-war. Portland is kind of fond of flowers, and puts huge floral displays in our downtown plaza.

I for one wasn't able to view this week's movie, due to the old windows media/codec problem, discussed earlier...
But judging from the thumbnails (!) I'd have to say that was some (yaaaaaawn) protest. It really...got me thinking...and...zzzzzzzzz.
Come on! Protesting war by spelling out "peace" with flowers? Points for commitment, points for effort, but creativity and attention-getting scores equal a big fat ZERO. If this is the left, it's time for some new blood!
At least, judging from the thumbnails.

But what a choice for July 4th! Spuzz, are you sure you didn't cheat?

No knowledge of the event required. Comment if you like on the art of the filmmaking. I found it quite mundane.
